Dread My Locks? There's nothing "dreadful" about my locks.

I loc'd my hair on January 4, 2024 and it was the best decision I have ever made in my life.

It took a while for me to make the move because it's a permanent hairstyle. You're committing to having the same hairstyle for the rest of your life.

I moved forward with it because I felt ready for permanent change in my life.

I was ready for a transformation, to step into the path I was destined to walk.

I'm sure you're wondering what a change in hairstyle has to do with "destiny". Well, I wanted to spend less time with my hair and more time on the things I want to achieve in life. In the meantime, here is my hair care routine 4 months in. I'm at 11 months now, nothing much has changed except the fact that my busy work schedule has made me less consistent when it comes to nurturing the plant that is my hair but, somehow, unlike many other hairstyles, locks seem to be much more forgiving...to me at least.
